Our quote was successful and subsequently an order was placed and works to commence in the spring of 2011...
Barkers was one of the oldest departments stores in the UK, and was built at the turn of the century, it is steeped with history and here at Trimstar we were delighted to be given the opportunity to work on such a prestigious project.

Due to the age & condition of the building we were very aware that the preparation of the substrate would be the key to a high quality and long lasting finish, this involved almost months of sanding, filling and prep work to the art deco windows, features etc, followed by the spray application of 2 pack epoxy primers and acrylic 2 pack topcoat to a brown finish...
The Project took 6 months to complete with 8 men permanently onsite and finished ahead of schedule...
The clients were extremely happy with the quality finish we provided and have given this grand old building a new lease of life for years to come...
